In 2010, on a huge government statistics project, my hands-on journey began on this path. Voice calls on mobile and landline — crores of minutes — and SMS interconnection wholesale pricing. Abundant documentation and some training taught me the power of data. Alongside that, since childhood I have believed in official documentation — what we call RTFM, ‘Read The Fine Manual’, going back to the newsgroup era. The GW-BASIC manual that came with my Commodore in childhood showed me how extraordinary official documentation can be. Hence my habit of reading the scikit-learn documentation. After all — the manual written by the person who built the product will be good; whose else could it be?

Of course we want machines built so they can think the way we do. We see this emerging in disease diagnosis, self-driving cars, airport management, long-haul flights and more — meaning we want machines beside us as partners, helping us make better decisions with information. That is why so many books have been written.

Gitbook/online/table of contents (PDF)
My draft books will always stay free online (on Gitbook). You do not need to buy the other formats right now — you can buy them later. All the books are online, ‘un-edited’. Before the real books reach the market the publishing houses have edited them professionally. The books’ ‘table of contents’ — that is, the index — will download as a PDF.

We have an extraordinary Facebook group where many people answer as soon as you post. Besides, even though I am ‘passionate’ about machine learning, I can only do it in my spare time — outside work and family. So first check the answers to the questions, then you can call via Messenger Rakibul Hassan or 01713095767 (5–6 pm).
