Bangladesh is a country of vast untapped potential. To manage our huge workforce and its resources, we must move into process optimization. And the first step there is going from manual processes to automation, which requires drawing knowledge from data. Much unknown knowledge hides inside our data. We have the data; what we need is the knowledge to process it.

To gain wisdom from data, you first need a good decision-support system. Even when humans stay in the decision loop, better decisions demand ideas for extracting knowledge from data. An intelligent machine speeds up that process and removes friction from society. At work, start with rule-based systems. Everywhere, it is about the decision process-flow.
Artificial Intelligence
Of course we want machines built so they can think the way we do. We see this emerging in disease diagnosis, self-driving cars, airport management, long-haul flights and more — meaning we want machines beside us as partners, helping us make better decisions with information.
How We Think of Machines
Much of how we think has already been handed over to machines. Whether an elevator keeps taking calls until exactly the right moment, or — when overloaded above — stops at every floor on the way out; such things already happen.
